Beautiful Guitar Music Part 2

Below you can see a video of Stevie Ray Vaughan, who is considered by many to be the greatest improvisational lead guitarist ever. The lead guitar lines that he plays are so creative melodically and rhythmically that I have to agree.

The skill necessary to remain consistent within the musical framework of the song while creatively adding notes during the allotted time is a very challenging thing. His ability to do this with incredible variation and beauty is what makes Stevie Ray stand out as a premier electric guitarist in the Texas Blues genre. Vaughan won 6 Grammies before perishing in a helicopter crash in 1990.

His hit song “Texas Flood” became a Double Platinum hit.

Stevie Ray Vaughan embodies musical creativity, something which; at the Musicality Network, we try to inspire all of our students towards. Learning to express yourself musically is something which takes training, time and determination. Sign up for Guitar Lessons today!
