Johny is a multi-instrumentalist on saxophone, flute, piano, guitar, and clarinet. A musician since childhood, Johny couldn’t wait to get his first clarinet in elementary school after hearing the high school marching band play. He’s studied multiple genres of music including classical, jazz, rock, ska, samba, latin, and more. He’s been playing professionally since he was 19, and has had the opportunity to study and perform with his music professors and other established musicians throughout the U.S. and Mexico.

Johny is excited about helping students of all ages get to where they want to go whether it’s learning a new instrument, finding their own sound, expressing their ideas, or playing gigs. He will help them become the best musician they want to be. Johny’s philosophy is that brains retain more when the environment is relaxed and low-stress. That’s why his lessons are so much fun! He teaches piano, guitar, saxophone, flute, and clarinet.
