Hiroko taught piano and voice for 20 years in Tokyo before relocating to the Portland area. She learned piano and music theory from the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra conductor Kenichiro Kobayashi.

She loves teaching people of all ages and has 25 years experience with students ranging from age 2 – 80. Hiroko teaches both classical and popular music.

For fun, she likes to hike, ski, and sing Italian and German songs.
