My love of music began at a very early age. I started improvising at the piano at age 5, and began recording these jam sessions when I was twelve. I graduated from New Mexico State University’s music program in 2005 and have been teaching piano in the Portland Metro since 2009.

People of all ages learn fastest when they are motivated to do so. I tailor my lessons to the needs and interests of each student, and strive first and foremost to create an atmosphere of patience, kindness, and acceptance. Students should never live in fear of making mistakes; instead, mistakes should inspire us to improve. Learning music is a process of exploration and discovery, and everyone learns at their own pace.
