Alex has been a musician for 20 years. His instruments include guitar, upright bass, electric bass, cello, piano, drums, and mandolin. He played in every high school band he could fit into his schedule, including jazz ensemble, jazz combo, orchestra, symphony, symphonic orchestra, and a handful of garage rock bands. Since college he’s been the singer-songwriter of several bands, and his own solo projects. He has a deep love for music and teaching, and has been teaching friends and family the guitar for several years. He recently started a 60s rock cover band called Milwaukie Dad Band.
