I was a piano teacher in California for over 25 years, now living in Portland to be closer to my grandchildren. As a teacher, I most enjoy sharing a love of music and the piano with my students. I’ve played the piano my whole life, sung in and accompanied choirs, composed and performed songs and was a street musician in San Francisco playing baroque music for flute and piano (on a small army pump organ). I work best with children (ages 8 and up) and adults who are willing to commit to regular practice.
