I started playing the piano and the cello at the age of 8 and gave my first international solo recital at the age of 11 on both instruments.
Teaching music is a great passion of mine since I was 14 when I started to teach. I love to perform but the joy and positivity that music brings into a student’s life through music lessons is what is truly rewarding. Throughout my music career I studied cello, piano and composition in Europe and the USA and also performed worldwide including in Carnegie Hall in New York.
I earned a masters degree in my studies with emphasis on pedagogy and performance practice. The combined knowledge I gained from my studies and the practical experience of performing allowed me to create my own unique way of teaching.
I place great value on continuing education, which enables me to gain up to date knowledge in my field. I feel that a music lesson should be a joyful and fun time for student and teacher alike. I always make sure to create a very positive yet disciplined environment where my students can progress with ease and excel.
In my spare time I like to read, travel, play with my dogs and help out in several charities. I currently teach piano, cello, violin, theory, chamber music, composition and music history.
Nora is currently accepting new students of all ages.
