Peter is a musician, performer, recording artist, songwriter, bandleader and arranger. Beginning on electric bass at the age of 14 he moved on to guitar soon after and learned to play piano and upright bass in college. From bluegrass to funk to indie rock he has played a wide spectrum of genres and continues to explore different realms of music. Peter has a Professional Music Certificate from Portland Community College and is currently finishing his Bachelors of Music in Jazz Performance at Portland State University. Currently he performs with Emancipator Ensemble, a live electronic group, and the R&B/Soul outfit Brownish Black.

Peter teaches piano, guitar and bass.
